19th Century, Warrensville Township, ArchitectureDescription
Undated black-and-white photograph of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Warrensville Township. Founded in 1837, the congregation first worshipped in a schoolhouse before building a frame church on Center Road in 1845, which was later rebuilt after a fire in 1866. The Methodist Episcopal congregation used the site until merging with the Church of the Saviour in 1926, after which Christ Episcopal Church leased the building in 1932.Photograph Details
