Plate 45 from from Shakers & Kirtland by Louis Baus showing a northeast view of the East Family house near present-day Fontenay Road. Baus description: "It is ten years since the Shaker departed and more since the East Family left their home, and how neglected the old building appears. A foreign family occupy the front rooms, while wind and storm spell decay with the rest. View shows the north side (rear) and east side. The present Fonaney [Fontenay] Rd. runs on the ground occupied by the length of the dwelling."Photograph Details
