Plate 705 from Shakers & Kirtland by Louis Baus showing a north view of the original Shaker Heights Fire Department at the northeast corner of Lee Road and Shaker Boulevard. The station, located behind the town hall, faced Shaker Boulevard. Baus description: "Shaker Hghts. first fire dpt. at the station facing Shaker Blvd. behind the town hall. In auto. at right - Chief John Irvin and driver. Removed to new town hall and building torn down."
