Hand-colored black-and-white glass lantern slide showing Leon Czolgosz, President William McKinley's assassin. A label for Williams, Brown & Earle of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which manufactured and sold optical projection devices, is along the left side, and a label for William E. Stieren Co. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is along the right. Czolgosz lived with his father, stepmother and brothers and sisters on a small farm on the north side of what is now Harvard Road, just east of Richmond Road near the Orange Township line.Photograph Details
