This natatorium collapsed on February 3, 1916 under heavy snow.
Excerpted from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer of that day:
The old Alki Point Natatorium, situated near the lighhouse, was demolished yesterday when the weight of the snow caused the roof to collapse. The roof went down with a crash that was heard for a mile. The air pressure broke windows throughout the neighborhood.
