Alki Area. Photo of Heffernan Dry Dock Co., with Elliott Bay, Harbor Island, and Novelty Mill in the background. Estimated date 1918. Large building in center later became Haury's Marina and later Seacrest. Building next to passenger vessel was originally the Seattle Yacht Club.
Note: As per John Kelly, the correct spelling is Heffernan Dry Dock. Possible Nettleton Mill or Creosoting Plant in the background across the water. A cargo ship with a dazzle paint scheme can be seen in the background at the J. F. Duthie & Company shipyard
