Nighttime scene of front entrance of Vann Bros. Restaurant at 4542 California Avenue. Sign outside lists fishing tackle and booths for ladies. 1930's Vann Brothers Restaurant was an Alaska Junction favorite for many years. In addition to being famous for their cuisine, they also sold sporting goods, sponsored various sporting events, and helped to form the West Seattle Athletic Club. The original proprietors were Reuel and Irv Vann, and four generations of the family worked their over the years. The location is now named Maharaja, Cuisine of India.
