Transcription of Doc Maynard Letter dated June 16, 1854. See transcription of letter dated June 19, 1854 (2020.2.15.3a-b) Letter from David S. Maynard, in Seattle, to son (Henry Maynard). Maynard responds to his son’s request for what course to take in establishing himself in life. Maynard advises Henry to come to Seattle where he can set him up in business and acreage. Maynard outlines the items that he sent with John Stroble for Henry and Frances. Maynard would like Henry to attend to some business for him in Elyria. Maynard urges his daughter Frances to come out to Seattle.
