B&W photo of Kinge & Winge ship "Tom & Al" resting on the shore. photo is matted, enclosed on plastic with a blue informational card which reads - "The F/V Tom and Al, Originally built as a prospecting vessel for Alaska in 1900, the SS Ragnhild was renamed the Tom and Al when Tom King and Al Winge bought her in 1910 after a fire devestated her interior. She became one of the best known fishing vessels on the Pacific Coast with such credits as the discovery of the famous 'W' spawning grounds in 1913 and taking the largest humpback whale ever recorded in 1961. The Tom and Al sank near the Barren Islands on February 2, 1980, while en route from Homer to Kodiak with a load of shrimp.
