Youngstown 1889 pastoral view from Mrs. L. D. Strong, 4033 25th Ave SW show the present site of the Pacific Coast Company's steel mill in Youngstown. The oxen belong to John E. Longfellow and were used to snake out logs in his lumbering operations in that area. Notice the corduroy road of logs over which the timber was skidded.
