Three separate churches came together to make Faith United Church; Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church organized in 1874 as daughter congregation to Zion United Church of Christ.
third church to form Faith Church was First Evangelical and Reformed Church; members worshiped for several years in old YMCA; later in old Congregational building at 910 Edmond; moved 1892; moved to 10th and Lincoln 1902; 1986 celebrated 25th anniversary; committee formed to do something permanent with cornerstones; corner stones are mounted into a brick monument on east side of the front doors to the church and monument mounted on west side of front doors with a granite plate; the plate has the name Faith United Church, a picture of a cross, year Faith Church founded and year it was constructed.
