Pony Express Bridge Color Postcard, c. 1950. Color photo of truss bridge from Missouri River bank looking south, approaches on both east & west sides of river visible. Railroad tracks in foreground. undated, but view seems about 1950. unmailed. (Bridge was built in 1929 and demolished in 1984) "Pony Express Bridge, Over the Missouri River, St. Joseph, Missouri. Formerly known as the St. Joseph Free Bridge, U.S. Highway 36 connects Missouri with Kansas."
