Charles & Robert Fleming Photo - Shultz Studio - 2 young boys - Charles & Robert Studio Photo - Sons of Clyde & Essie Lavern (Morris) Fleming. c. 1920. The photograph is of 2 young boys dressed in wool suits by Shultz Studio, St. Joseph. These photos were collected by a researcher from Fredericksburg, VA who, not being able to locate next-of-kin donated them to this museum' Charles & Robert Fleming were born in St. Joseph about 1912-1915 and died sometime after 1930. Their father, Clyde, also lived in Kingston, MO (1900) and Cass County (1910). His occupation was a Printer in 1900 and Farmer in 1910. Clyde R. Fleming was born in December 1880 in St. Joseph, MO., the son of Alfred and Rhoda (Thompson), Fleming who were married Sept. 23, 1872 in Caldwell County, MO Clyde had a sister, Maude/Marge V. and brother Claud W.. St. Joseph City Directory in 1887-1890 lists Alfred as a printer for Combe & McCreary & a reporter for the St. Joseph Daily News.
