This letter is to Mr. Ernest Carden. Francis Smith of the Smith, Sherwood, Utz & Litvak Law Firm wrote the letter. He had written to the State Treasurer, Mr. M. E. Morris, and he sent to me a typewritten memorandum which covers the matter of the Missouri Certificate which you showed to me.
I regret the Certificate seems to be of no value, but at least you now have the historical background of it, which you can file with the Certificate itself. Dated June 24, 1960.Lexicon
