95.1P.517 = Photographer standing at left looking at row of four large beehive-shaped aggregate stone structures across a small creek. Legend: "Charcoal kilns near the ghost town of Piedmont, Wyo. They were built by Moses Byrne who had earlier built Muddy Creek Stage and Pony Express Station to the northeastward. He spent the rest of his life in the Muddy Creek Valley in pioneer enterprises that are now only history. Wyo. '59"
