I Have Changed, The Shockingly Personal Statement in a Tragically Impersonal Time describes the life of Track star, Jesse Owens, a black Olympian who won 4 gold medals in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, during Adolf Hitler's regime. It is the second book he authored with collaborator Paul Neimark. The first book is Blackthink.
In this sequel, Owens relives his great races, and describes his friends in the Civil Rights movement, and gives his opinions on black militarists such as Eldrridge Cleaver and Angela Davis.
