Born February 26, 1846, Scott County, Iowa; Died January 10, 1917, Denver, Colorado." b/w. 3¼" x 4½". 05.11.39 = Pall bearers around Cody's casket laid over his gravesite. Photo of 8 older men wearing suits with Masonic aprons tied about their waists on either side of the casket that has just been placed on platform above open grave. A man in uniform, stands behind them. Handwritten on back: "Cody Funeral. The pallbearers of Golden City Lodge No. 1, A.F. and A.M., lowering the casket into the grave." sepia. 7½" x 9¼".
