Pony Express Centennial July 28, 1960. The Pony Express was founded in 1860. The founders, were Waddell, Majors, and Russell. The postcard has a cancellation from Fallon Nevada.

Group of Pony Express First Day Covers 86.9.1-26. Each cover canceled at a town along the trail on the last day the cancellation stamp was in use at that town's post office. Each cover has a 4¢ Pony Express Stamp. Above Stamp is stamped. "1860-Pony Express-1960 Founders, Russell, Majors, and Waddell."
Each cover has logo in orange/blue. Pony rider on galloping horse in blue against orange starburst background, April 3, 1860---April 3, 1960. "Pony Express" above and "Centennial" below.
