The front of the card is a colored picture of 'Boulder Dam, Nevada, Arizona . . the main line of the Union Pacific Railroad, . . . and hugh man-made Lake Mead, 115 miles in length.'

July 7 - 47 Well it wont be long now until you are ready to start on your trip. Hope you will enjoy every minute of it. Weather here is cool & delightful, but we have been resting mostly so far. Lela's yard is a blaze of color & very well kept. The yard men were here a few days ago to cut grass. No doubt you will see this done. Have a good time & enjoy every thing. Edna
