Scope and Content

Hand made paper photo album/birthday card containing 8 black and white photos. Comprising 8 folded sheets of paper bound with a tied white ribbon (16 pages total) Photos are glued to face of first 8 pages. Cover page has photo of little girl (Gertrude Faith Harrison) with hand printing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" (on left), "1934" (at top), "To GRANDDADDY With Love" (on right), and "From Gertrude" at bottom. 7 out of the 8 photos are the totem pole at Cedar Lodge.

paper is yellowed with age. Outside page (cover) is torn and tattered, and almost detached. One photo is loose.

Note

Note: 7 of the 8 photos were originally issued catalog numbers (SHH 11.959 to 11.965) in Aug 1984 by SSD. One photo was not cataloged at that time (it was a duplicate). It has since been cataloged as SHH 2011.42.1. Gertrude Faith Harrison (daughter of Irene) was born 1928 and would have been 5 or 6 years old in 1934.
