Scope and Content

Small black leather bound photograph album. Comprising 30 white paperboard double side pages (60 pages total) bound along with back and cover to spine with two metal bolts. Front cover missing. With 232 small photographs mounted with an unknown glue (SHH 11.2330 to SHH 11.2562). Many of the photos have hand written descriptions. FAS & GFPS are present in numerous photos. Dating from 1895 - 1898 Photos related to Seiberling Family travels during 1895-8 including the following: 1) SHH 11.2330 to 11.2379 Kirtland, OH, & Willoughby, OH, (travel via horse drawn carriage) 2) SHH 11.2380 to 11.2493 Atlanta Tally Ho trip Nov - Dec 1895 - Mt Vernon, OH, Chattanooga, Chickamauga, Lookout Mt, Atlanta, Atlanta Exposition, & Tally Ho Picnic, (Travel via horse drawn carriage & railroad) Wm McKinley appears in several photos. 3) SHH 11.2494 to 11.2515 Tally Ho Picnic at Silver Lake, OH, June 25, 1896 4) SHH 11.2516 to 11.2562 FAS and kids camping in Hessel, (boating, tents, campfires, etc.) 5) SHH 11.2549 to 11.2562 Travel on board ship and landmarks at Mackinac Island, MI
