Autumn landscape with road and hillside; possibly view of Pleasure Drive, Stan Hywet Hall west side. Country road in center foreground, winds back into center background. To left of road, hillside of trees in fall colors: some green, yellow-green and rust. Most trees extend above top edge of canvas; fallen rust colored leaves line edge of road on left. At left corner, outcropping of gray-blue colored rocks and small bush or tree without leaves. To right of road, earth falls downward away from road, rocks and leaves in colors of yellow, green and pale blue. Tree with rust colored foliage in ravine on right; land slopes up off right edge of canvas. Background shows bright yellow and green line of trees at horizon of road as it turns left. Beyond is rolling hillside in pale blue shades, very pale blue sky with some white and pink.Type of Painting
