Willard Dryden Paddock, American sculptor and painter, born in Brooklyn New York October 23, 1873. Pupil of Herbert Adams in New York; Pratt Institute in Brooklyn; Courtois and Girardotin, Paris. Member: Associate of National Academy; New York Architectural League; National Sculpture Society 1915; Artist Aid Society. Works: Orr and Jessup relief, New York Chamber of Commerce; the Whittier and Grant Memorials, Saginaw, Michigan; George Seward Memorial; Noah Webster memorial, Amherst College, Massachusetts, numerous busts, figures, fountains, sun dials and statuettes. Exhibited at National Sculpture Society, 1923. Address in 1953 South Kent, Connecticut. Died 1956.
