Oil painting of still life framed in 1 3/4"" frame which has gilt body with purple and white over glaze [estimate that frame is selection of artist owing to its related appearance to painting]. Still life included plaster female nude statue at right with no arms, head, or legs; body twists slightly at torso and thighs connect into square plaster base; statue painted in various shades of white and purple with yellow highlights. To left is clear glass bowl with narrow opening; three callalilies [1 tall; 2 short] arranged in bowl, stems visible beneath water; lilies are white with yellow highlights and green stems. Both pieces rest on surface covered with two cloths, one red and one green. Drapery at background consists of white drape at left, central yellow and gold drapery, and black-purple background at right.
