Description

Oil on canvas painting (a) of a large two story brick house with green shutters and white columned and arched porch sits above a lawn of light green and oranges, yellows and reds (near bottom of canvas). A driveway (in grays and greens) runs from the left foreground and curves to the right behind trees and lawn in front of house. A woman in blue dress and hat runs with her right arm stretched out down driveway. The trees are a red sepia with red and peach or green and brown leaves. A lawn and some trees grow on the left of the driveway. Around behind the left side of the house and also rising behind the right side are yellow leafed trees. A green hedge is also at left side of house. Sky behind is blue with pink and yellow in places. Natural wood painted antiqued frame (b): 2 in. painted molding, white. Signed in lower left corner "GFPSeiberling/October/1934"
