My dear Mrs Seiberling,
I got home from a very successful trip in the west on Sat, -- and did not expect to leave Akron until tonight. When I got home I found that I was due for a recital at Wellesley College on the third, I have been having the [illegible] of my life this fall. I sang in Beloit, Wis. Madison, Richland Center, Wassaw and Sioux City Ia on the 21, 22-23-27 and 30th. I had to sing six encores in each of the above places. Last night was the [illegible] night. The girls nearly broke up the show, never had such a reception, and what an inspiration to look into the faces of a thousand beautiful girls, Never sang so well in my life, Eight encores in a program of five groups of 17 songs, [illegible] some, eh. Well I sang the 25 songs without turning a hair, I know Mrs Seiberling that you have turned to pastures new and I hope you are finding something that will benefit you, but some time I want to tell you and demonstrate what I have found that gives me such ease and endurance. It is simple and I am sure you will grasp it instantly.
When I explain it to you you will forever give up voice teachers and work it out, I could go on and keep this thing to myself, but there is no one on earth that I would rather set right than your own sweet self. I know you have searched faithfully for the truth and I know as certain as there is an end to all things that I can set you right in five minutes
I know you will pardon this lengthy scribble when I tell you that you and Ginny are very dear to me.
Your very [illegible] friend,
