Thursday Morning – Dear Mrs. Seiberling – I haven’t any words to thank you for that beautiful basket of flowers – I know you could never have sent them to anyone who would have appreciated them more. I am so pleased that you thought the work-good-I worked all the time with you in my mind – I wanted it to be a success because it must be headed -Tuesday Musical Club- The girls were lovely to work with and I enjoyed every moment of the hard work – and I am not sick now that it is all over. The phones have rung for the last two days- People calling up – some I know and some I do not - all praise for the Operetta. Doctor and I appreciated very much you looking after me with your machine. A number of the girls in the Operetta,- last night told me to tell you when I thanked you for the flowers that they appreciated you sending them to me and also wanted you to know that they loved you more than ever, because you were so kind about your machine when I was not well. Any way I can help you, for your afternoon – you will find me ready - so tell me. Make out your list of girls and I will tell them to keep the time for the rehearsals and help you all you want- With loads of love to you – Effie W. Bowman
