September 11, 1946 Mrs Milton W Harrison 56 Highland Circle Bronxville, N Y My Dear Irene: I have your telegram from Bronxville which I interpret to mean that you want $800. for Gertrude’s schooling, and this I enclose herein. Bobbie has arrived lively as ever and, as I understand it, goes to school tomorrow. When you get the bill for Sally’s schooling send it to me and I will give you a check to cover it, so that the Harrison children will be taken care of for the coming year. Frederick goes north to Hessel tomorrow for his annual fishing and hunting expedition. Franklin is arriving from Toledo and will doubtless be with us for a day or two. He is now using our old Chevy car which I may have to take from him, as we are offering it in trade for a new one. Then his problem will be how to get a new car which is of necessity to him, as his place in Columbus is ten miles from the city. Mary has arrived from the Mayo Clinic yesterday having had a diagnosis which has made her very cheerful, but she must return in a few weeks and remain a month for the treatment that is to be applied. She is very hopeful of obtaining a cure for her ills and I wish I could have the same conviction, but truth compels me to state that my fingers are still crossed. I hope all is going well with you and that we shall see you the last of this month, as you state. Affectionately Dad F A Seiberling B
