Description

The writer addresses the letter "Dear Bill" and opens the letter stating they are bothering the reader to ensure Aunt Grace gets this second letter. The writer extends thanks for the reader's description of their experiences at two recent demonstrations. The writer thinks Good Year didn't know what was good for them when they staged a demonstration an hour after the reader's and the writer was amused to hear about it. The writer also thanks the reader for letting the writer share in the fun and being impressed with the amazing qualities of this tube and tire. The writer believes "in another ten years there may be practically no cars sold without these puncture proof tires" and thinks these patents are the biggest assets that Seiberling Rubber Company holds today. The writer closes the letter "Devotedly your sister" but does not sign the letter.

56 Highland Circle Bronxville, New York October 1, 1938. Dear Bill: I am bothering you to see that Aunt Grace gets this second letter. Thank you so much for the wonderful description of your experiences in your recent two demonstrations. I certainly think Good Year [sic] didn’t know what was good for them when they staged a demonstration an hour after yours. It was most amusing to hear about it. Thanks loads for letting me share in the fun as well as the exhilaration of being impressed anew with the amazing qualities of this tube and tire. I really believe in another ten years there may be practically no cars sold without these puncture proof tires. I think these patents are the biggest assets that the Seiberling Rubber Company holds today. Love to you all – Devotedly your sister,
