The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
AKRON, OHIO, June 19, 1908.
Miss Irene H. Seiberling,
Dana Hall,
Wellesley, Mass.
My dear Irene, -
I have just telegraphed you that we will drive through to West Point from Wellesley, arriving there about noon of the 19th and Frederic and Arthur will meet us about noon of the 20th. This will give you twenty-four hours at West Point, sufficient time for your "Hop" and a visit with Mrs. Fiebeger.
I have written Lieutenant-Colonel Fiebeger asking for information as to where I can house Mildred, Miss Adams and myself over the night and likewise the car, as I apprehend that there will be no means of getting across the river except by the ferry. The Colonel will take the hint and provide accomodations [sic] for us at West Point if he is able to do so, otherwise I will look after Mildred and Miss Adams at Garrison where I will stay.
I suppose you girls will want to take along your fine togs for the dance, which involves a trunk and I suggest therefore that you put your clothes

in one small steamer trunk, forwarding it prepaid by express to Lieutenant-Col. G. J. Fiebeger, shipping it not later than the evening of the 17th and dropping Mrs. Fiebeger a note that you have done so.
I will be in New York on Tuesday morning and a letter addressed care of our Branch, 1914-16 Broadway will reach me. As this will be the last opportunity you will have to communicate with me if you have anything to write drop a note there.
This change in our program may alter the whole plan so that it will be inadvisable to go to Lake George, but this is a matter we can discuss later.
With love
Your FatherTranscriber
