Typewritten 4 page letter on Warren H. Manning letterhead, from Warren Manning to F.A. Seiberling in response to a previous lettering regarding the placement of the gardens in relationship to the house. He specifically mentions the "drive through the woods" at the south end intended to be for pleasure use only. He speaks of the west side of the Music Room being the perfect location for tennis courts and that it is also the best location for the Japanese Garden. He goes into great detail on the specific characteristics of Japanese gardens and the importance of the dwarf species that must be used. The letter is signed in black ink.
