Typewritten 2 page letter on Warren H. Manning letterhead, from Warren Manning to Mrs. F.A. Seiberling regarding the "little Formal and Japanese Gardens" stating that he will make some sketches and send them for her to consider. He mentions a conversation with "your son" regarding omitting terraces in the front of the house which he agrees with. He also writes of a garden walk "leading straight away from the terrace on the opposite side of the garden in the quarry" stating that it will take up too much of the lawn area.
