Irene,- I delayed mailing this too you in the hope that in a day or 2 or 3 I’d have word for you about your cook. From the date of this letter to the date of my letter to you is a delay of 5 days. W Hessel, Mich., 49745. Sunday, 5-21-78. Happy bithday [sic] to you, H B D 2 U, H B D Dear Robert, H B D 2 U. Pretend that’s a singing telegram, and enclosed is my birthday check to wish you many happy returns of the day. I am looking forward to seeing you during the three days you will be up here on your Mother’s big plans for your family reunion. The timing is bad, as I’ll be busy with my contractors, so you will have to help your Mother “run the show” as I won’t be available. After I get Cove Point finished and no longer have contracters [sic] on my hands, I’m looking forward to having a Harrison Family reunion of two weeks up here instead of just three days. Your Mother has probably already advised you of the transportation plans whereby she and Sally will be driving up on Friday the 9th, sleeping in Hessel at the Wilson’s Motel Friday night so as to have the full day of Saturday to get everything ready for the arrival of all of you from Akron and Chicago late Saturday afternoon. Sally’s children will sleep at the Gate Lodge Friday night and you will drive them them [sic] up on Saturday, leaving at about 8:30 a.m. so as to get here by 6:00 p.m. Enclosed is/a copy of Trip-Tick I made up for your Mother and Sally which will also help you; your Mother is getting the original. With best wishes for the coming year of your life, Affectionately,
