Elderly female figure stands just left of center with right arm bent and hand on hip; left hand is in jacket/sweater pocket. Figure wears long dark skirt with dark over skirt or apron, dark shoes, dark blouse and long dark V-neck sweater jacket with button front. Hair is gray and short or pulled back in a bun; wearing glasses. Male figure stands to her left and wears dark suit with white shirt, dark under collar tie, watch chain visible from last vest button. Male has hands held behind his back; gray thin hair and mustache. Many potted plants behind figures on ground at base of houses. Mountain barely visible in distance between rooflines. Couple are attributed to be the parents of Marie Reider and photograph is taken at their home in Switzerland.Collection
