Scope and Content

Handmade scrapbook by Robert Harrison containing both Out of the North; A Brieg Historical Sketch of the Blackfeet Indian Tribe by Frank B. Linderman and personal drawings of 3-D objects. Cover made from two pieces of cardboard bound by red intertwined leather cord. Handdrawn (crayon or chalk) front cover depicts sailboat and lighthouse with rising sun. ""Scrapbook"" handwritten in black on upper center. Red and blue border surrounds picture. Red ""S"" on green shield with blue border hand drawn on center of back cover. First twenty-eight pages contain Frank B. Linderman's Out of the North; story of Blackfeet Indians with twenty-four full-color reproductions of famous Blackfeet Indian paintings by Winold Reiss. Next eight pages contain pencil drawings by Bobby Harrison of 3-D objects (apparently done for a class). Last six pages contain clippings pertaining to the Ellsworth Antarctic Expedition.
