View along a road. Road in peach and gray reaches across almost entire front of canvas and winds out of sight to the right in left center midground. Inside the curve is a ditch? (darker area) in plum and dark blue. Behind it are a close row of pink, white and red rhododendrons. From behind the rhododendrons rise trees. They have blue, plum and magenta trunks and branches and have leaves of olive and sea green done in flowing, thick brush strokes. At the far right is a dark blue-green arch. The shadows of the trees on the road is done in greens and blues. On the outside of the curve (in the midground) is a blue rail fence in front of green bushes and a shadowy area of dark blue-green. The sky behind is blue and pale blue-green with some white clouds.
