Painting
This image depicts a mountain landscape, one of a series of three. It portrays a mountain vista boldly in rich colours of orange, blue and green. The location is unknown.
This rugged landscape is presented in dramatic colour and form - at the same time beautiful, remote and awe-inspiring, reflecting Bowen Horne's early training in France and motivated by the work of the famed Group of Seven, Canada’s first national art movement.Artwork Details
