ARTIST BIOGRAPHY Born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Geoffrey David Markovich is a self-taught professional artist. He was raised and educated in Nanaimo, B.C. and now resides in Victoria, spending at least some of his time in Hawaii. He works in various mediums, including acrylic, egg-tempera, oil and watercolour, and also does prints. He is known for his portraits and landscapes, as well as still-lifes and florals. He has had more than 30 one-man shows and numerous other exhibitions. His works are held in both private and corporate collections. He is a member of the Island Arts and Crafts Society.
