ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Born in Epsom, England, Susan Barbara Keane (née Denny) was an artist in Cobble Hill on Vancouver Island from 1992, where she founded the local art club. She started her art training in England, coming to Canada in 1954 and resumed her art career in Vancouver in 1969. Keane lived in Montreal and Toronto, and later in Vancouver, wher she was active in the city and area arts community as a member and serving on the executive of the Vancouver Sketch Club (1970-76), the West Vancouver Sketch Club and The North Shore Artist’s Guild. She exhibited in the Seymour Art Gallery exhibitions in North Vancouver (1985-90).Inscription/Signature/Marks
