Located about halfway between Campbell River and Courtenay, Saratoga Beach is a sheltered and white sandy beach stretching 2 km along the Strait of Georgia. The beach is in an extreme tidal area, and at low tide the gently sloping beach can extend a further half km. One of its notable features is the water's temperature, which are some of the warmest in the entire province. Popular with locals and tourists alike, the beach offers many activities and picturesque views of mainland mountains.Made/Created
