ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Born in Kent, England, Harry O. Austin immigrated to Victoria in the 1890s. He was well known as an amateur artist in the city and beyond, winning prizes in Victoria and various Vancouver Island fairs and exhibitions. Known for his watercolours of landscapes and flowers, he exhibited with the Island Arts and Crafts Society in 1931. Active in the early 1900s-1945.
