Description

Painting This image depicts a greyed and windy seascape with eight sailboats and a lone onlooker to the left on a sandy beach wearing red pants, a green jacket and a white hat. It is a strong diagonal composition with the eye drawn to the onlooker figure, then along the beach and out across the choppy waters to the boats and the islands, the mountains in the far distance and the threatening sky with its yellow-green highlights. The location is unknown.
