Portrait of the race horse Lexington in his old age by Edward Troye. Many portraits of Lexington exist. In this one he is in his stall with hay and a bucket at his feet. Expert Genevieve Baird Lacer thinks that this may have been painted when he was blind. Back of the Painting has written on it "Lexington aged 20 years in spring of 1870 E. Troye, Pinxt"Collection
