Man with beard. Oval portrait in rectangular frame. Has a female companion portrait. Late 1800s? The man in the portrait may be James M. Hocker, who was married to J. H. Mariana Hocker and who founded Hocker Female College in Kentucky, the precurser to Hamilton College. Attributed to Revenaugh by Estil Curtis Pennington.
