Label

A galloping cavalry horse was terrifying to face. The bronze horse statuette shows how such a horse would have looked. The saddle had horns which held the rider firmly, so there was no need for stirrups. These bronze plates were used to stiffen the horns. The original owner has inscribed his name inside one of them.
