Two bovine bone fragments. One has broken in half, exposing its porous inside.

Context

These bovine bones are most likely the result of butchering, cooking, or consuming a cow. If large enough, bovine bones could be used to make buttons or toothbrushes. The use of bones in this kind of manufacturing is most popular before WWI.
