Note

Rogers Brothers silver began in 1847 when the brothers patented an electroplating process in Connecticut. The Rogers Bros 1847 brand was one of their most prosperous lines with huge numbers of hollowware and flatware still being produced until the mid 1980s. “1847” written on pieces and in the name does not signify that it was made in that year, but rather that was the year the company was founded.
