Dice

Description

A small gaming dice made of bone

Use

Likely used for parlor games by gentlemen visiting the brothel.

Context

Storyville was home to every vice and sin in New Orleans, and gambling was no exception. It would have been common for large, prominent establishments such as this one to host gentlemen, and that included providing entertainments outside of the female companions. Thus, gambling was common in the boudoirs and manors along Basin.
