Notes

Maker unknown. Flared/prescription finish seen in early to mid 19th century cologne bottles. Mold markings along sides, but bottom has no/oddly shaped seam, round pontil mark in center. Similar bottle found in New England, but appears to be a later example. https://sha.org/bottle/pontil_scars.htm https://sha.org/bottle/bases.htm#Key%20&%20hinge%20moldshttps://sha.org/bottle/Bases/beadedeaglebase.jpghttps://www.historicnewengland.org/explore/collections-access/gusn/38030 https://sha.org/bottle/finishstyles.htm#Wide%20Prescription https://www.historicnewengland.org/explore/collections-access/gusn/38030
