APO 133 c/o Postmaster New York, NY Addressed to: Mr. Arthur Haupert RR#1 Urbana, Indiana USA Postmarked Nov. 29, 1944 (5:30 PM) at US Army Postal Service In the lower right of the envelope is a censors stamp reading: "Passed by US Army Examiner". the number 28418 is in the middle of the stamp and it is hand signed over the stamp with examiner's name and rank. The letter stationary has a header showing in red a C47 towing a glider plane and underneath it reads: American Red Cross, European Theater of Operations The letter is two pages long and written on one side in cursive.
